Fun Original Quirky village- Collage Mixed Media Abstract Painting
One Day Workshop

Starting with fun mark making and easy brush stokes you’ll create your 1st rich textured underlayer. Creating easy shapes for your village, letting the underlayer come through .and uncovering your village design,
You’ll add torn paper collage and details to enhance your design and make it your own. Create your own original quirky village artwork to put on your wall.

Its an intuitive free flow approach, you dont need to know how to paint or draw to create this!

I’ll show you how to.

Mix colours
How to use your brushes and palette knife.
Create texture and shadow effects
Have fun with what shapes appear on your canvas
How to enhance your artwork with torn paper collage

One day workshop Saturday 12th January 2019

  • 10 am - 4.30 pm

  • Cost: $99 or bring a friend $180.
    BYO a medium sized canvas around 50 - 60 cm. All paints, collage paper and all other materials, paints and afternoon tea supplied.
    If you would like to purchase a canvas pre drawn $130. Drawn in pencil ready for you. All designs will be different. But you won’t be colouring in the lines! ph Kathryn to confirm.

  • BYO lunch for yourself. Afternoon tea and beverages included.

When to arrive? – Arrive 5 mins before the start to get settled in, get a cup of tea/coffee and get ready to have fun!
Class starts at 10 am for an all day workshop.

What to bring? –Bring lunch for yourself and a canvas around 50 - 60cm. All acrylic paints, collage paper and other materials supplied.

What to wear? – We provide you with an apron but recommend wearing something you don't mind getting paint on.
